We are delighted to announce incredible news – our solar power plant is now officially connected to the grid! With 350 solar panels collectively reaching a rated capacity of 300 kW, believe me when I say this is a significant step towards more sustainable and responsible operations. Let me amuse you with a comparison – with the amount of energy we produce, we could light up Las Vegas every night! No, seriously, maybe not exactly Vegas, but we would certainly have enough light for a larger village.
The solar power plant was constructed under the Operational Programme for the Implementation of the European Cohesion Policy for the 2014–2020 period, identified by the code JR SE OVE 2021, within the priority axis of Sustainable Use and Production of Energy and Smart Grids, priority investment of Promoting the production and distribution of energy derived from renewable sources, and a specific objective to increase the share of renewable energy sources in final energy consumption.
We have always wanted to be part of the solution, not the problem, when it comes to environmental challenges. That’s why we decided to harness the wonderful power of the sun and convert it into clean, renewable energy. Our solar panels are installed on the roof of our business building and are truly something special.
By acquiring our own solar power plant, we not only reduce our carbon footprint but also move closer to our goal of becoming a more sustainability-oriented company. Our commitment to environmental responsibility is not just a word – it is now an action that we implement every day.
But that’s not all. In the future, we plan even more »crazy« projects. You may have already heard that we are planning to set up charging stations for electric company vehicles. This means that we will not only be generating clean energy but also helping to accelerate the transition to electric mobility.
Our solar power plant is just the beginning. Together, we are building a bright, green future and laying the foundation for a better tomorrow. We will continue to seek opportunities to contribute to a better environment and a more sustainable future for all of us.
Currently, we generate between 1 and 1.5 megawatt-hours of electrical energy per day, which is more than we need for our daily requirements. This means that we are actually self-sufficient in electricity, which is remarkable. And as if that weren’t enough, we send the additional energy “surplus” back to the electrical grid.
We are very proud of what we have achieved and can’t wait to involve you even more in these projects. As always, we thank you for your support and dedication to our common goals. Together, we are stronger! Thank you for being part of this story. Let’s continue building a more sustainable future, one step at a time! With sunny and cheerful regards!
